Before you apply for a new job, you’ll need to create or update your resume. It’s important to be sure your resume is up-to-date, easy to read and organized.

  1. Ensure that everything listed on your resume correlates to the job you are applying to.

  2. Your resume should be either one or two full pages.

  3. Your resume should include at least five (5) keywords from the job description you are applying for.

  4. Your resume should clearly show that you meet at least the minimum qualifications.

  5. Correct verb tense should always be used. If it’s a past job, all verbs should be past tense.

  6. Your resume should show how you have added value and solved problems at every company you list.

  7. There should be absolutely no misspelling or grammatical errors.

  8. You should leave the reader wanting to know more about you and it should include something unique and memorable about you.

1. Keep in Touch with Your Recruiter.
The Fixed Indemnity Medical Plan is a supplement to health Insurance. The Plan offers supplemental coverage for Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life and Short-Term Disability. It is not a substitute for essential health benefits or minimum essential coverage as defined under the Affordable Care Act.


2. Attend Job Fairs.
Skill enhancement is available to employees at no charge. Increasing your skills can increase your rate of pay. Additionally, by working certain temporary assignments, an employee may be compensated while elevating their skills and gain valuable experience

Job interviews can be quite intimidating if you’re not prepared. We recommend following these helpful tips to gain more confidence in your interviewing abilities. Stand out from other candidates and learn what you should do before, during and after the interview to increase your chances of a job offer.

Pre-Interview

1. Research and become familiar with the company and person you are interviewing with. You’ll want to come prepared with quality questions to ask the interviewer about the job and company.

2. Turn your cell phone off! If you have to have it on, explain to the interviewer that it will only be answered in case of an emergency.
